Sony is reportedly planning to release the mid-range Xperia XA series phone later this week in India
Sony via Twitter posted an image of a smartphone with the tag "Borderless design — Stunning low-light Selfie. This Friday!," hinting that the company will launch the Xperia XA on June 24.
Last month, Sony, during the launch of flagship Xperia X (Rs. 48,990), announced that the Xperia XA would cost Rs. 20,990, but refrained from revealing when the device would be made available in the market. Now, it looks like the mid-range phone will hit stores in India this weekend.
For the uninitiated, the Xperia XA sports a 5.0-inch HD screen and houses MediaTek (MT6755) Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2300mAh cell.
