Japanese electronics giant, Sony seems to have many smartphones in its pipeline. Following the success of its Xperia Z, the company is expanding its Xperia series portfolio with the similar kind of smartphones.
The latest we hear is that the company is prepping a new smartphone Xperia UL codenamed Gaga. Although the specifications of the smartphone have leaked earlier, this is the first time the photos of the handset have showed up. People at CNMO have released the images of the purported smartphone.
According to rumours, Sony Gaga is expected to come with a 5-inchouchscreen display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage. The other stipulated features of the phone include Android v4.2.1 OS Jelly Bean and a high-capacity 2,300 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Earlier in April, a Japanese website had reported that Sony would launch a high end smartphone codenamed Gaga. The latest picture shares similarities with the earlier leaked picture, giving hint that the rumoured smartphone is in the company's pipeline.
"Looking at the rubber isolation we can safely bet the Xperia UL will be water and probably dust proof," GSM Arena reported.
Sony is also rumoured to be launching smartphones codenamed Dogo and Togari. According to the previous leaked reports, Dogo is expected to come with sport a 4.6-inch HD display and will run on Android v4.2.1 OS Jelly Bean. It is likely to powered by a Qualcomm based Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage capacity. Sony is yet to make any announcement of its upcoming smartphones.
