Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Phablet India Price Revealed; Specifications, Availability Details

Sony officially announced the launch of its mid-range smartphone, Xperia T2 Ultra in India with a price tag of  25,990.

The smartphone which was unveiled in January along with Sony Xperia E1 and E1 Dual will be available for purchase in India from Thursday (20 March) through Sony Center stores, Xperia Flagship stores and other retail outlets.

The new Xperia T2 Ultra sports 6.0-inch HD (1720x1280p) TFT screen with TRILUMINOS and BRAVIA Engine 2 display technology and is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes equipped with 13.0-megapixel rear camera with pulsed LED flash support, Exmor RS sensor, 16 X digital zoom, HDR and a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera with an Exmor R sensor.

On the connectivity front, the new Sony pahblet supports 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC and comes loaded with 3,000mAh battery. It packs 8GB internal storage with expandable option upto 32GB with microSD card and supports Dual SIM functionality.

The Single SIM Variant of Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Phablet has been on sale at the online retailer Saholic at ₹32,000.The official launch of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra (Single-SIM) is yet to be announced in India.

Recently, Sony launched music-centric budget smartphone Xperia E1 in India. Xperia E1 flaunts a 4.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) TFT LCD screen, powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor and runs on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box. Other features of the phone include 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory with expandable option, 3.0-megapixel camera with 4X zoom, HDR and music entertainment features like loudspeaker and Sony's audio filter technology.
