Android Marshmallow update for Sony's mid-range smartphone Xperia M4 Aqua is slated to release early next month.
Canadian network carrier Rogers (via official community forum) has confirmed that the Android v6.0 mobile OS is coming to Sony Xperia M4 Aqua on Aug. 3.
The announcement comes just days after Sony firmware (build number: 26.3.A.0.131), understood to be Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Xperia M4 Aqua, got the nod from North American cellular operators' forum PTCRB.
Once the firmware roll-out commences in the first week of August, it won't be long before Sony expands the process to other regions of the world and may probably complete it by the end of September.
