Sony's latest entry level smartphone, the Xperia E4 will hit the stores soon with its pre-orders having started in the UK just a couple of days after its unveiling event.
Sony Xperia E4 is up for pre-orders in the UK and is expected to be released in the country in late March with price tag £99.99 (approximately $154), according to a report by Clove (via GSMArena).
"With Xperia E4, we wanted to offer people some of the premium Sony features they have come to expect – with unparalleled ease of use – at a highly-competitive price point," Tony McNulty, Vice President, Value Category Business Management at Sony Mobile Communications, had said at the launch event.
"With a simple set-up, great screen and unrivalled 2 day battery life we've created an on-the-go entertainment device that will keep on going, wherever you are," he added.
Sony Xperia E4 sports a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels (220 ppi pixel density) and protected by scratch-resistant glass, powered by
5.0 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen 540 x 960 pixels (~220 ppi pixel density) Scratch-resistant glass, powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core SoC (System on Chip), and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system.
The device also comes packed with 8GB internal memory, 1 GB RAM and microSD up to 32 GB, 5 MP ,ain camera and 2 MP front snapper, and non-removable Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery. It has add-ons like Single-SIM slot (Dual-SIM comes in optional model), Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, USB v2.0, Sony 3D Surround Sound technology, and A-GPS for navigation.
