Japanese consumer electronics giant, Sony has launched a budget Android smartphone dubbed as Xperia E3 in India.
Sony Xperia E3 originally made its debut early this month at the globally acclaimed IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2014 at Germany along with high-end devices Xperia Z3 smartphones and tablets. [Full report HERE].
The new Sony phone sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and comes packed with modest internal hardware such 1GB RAM, 4GB memory (expandable), 5.0-megapixel camera and VGA camera on the front.
Other stipulated features include 2330 mAh battery, which can power the phone for up to 12 hours 20 minutes of talk time and close to 706 hours in standby mode. Connectivity features include -Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi , A-GPS, GLONASS, micro-USB (High speed v2.0), microSD card slot, USB port and FM radio with RDS.
The company has confirmed that the Sony Xperia E3 has been made available across India. Single SIM and Dual-SIM models will cost ₹11,999 and ₹12,999 respectively, reported AndroidOS.in
