Japanese electronics major Sony will reportedly roll out its much-anticipated smartphone, Xperia E, as early as February 2013.
"UK MOBILE RETAILER Carphone Warehouse has revealed that the Sony Xperia E will be arriving on its shelves in February", reported The Inquirer.
Carphone Warehouse has not confirmed the February date, but the company website said that the mid-range smartphone is expected to be released soon.
Sony first unveiled the Xperia E smartphone on Dec 5.
"Consumers looking to take their first steps into the world of Xperia smartphones would be well advised to look at Xperia E or Xperia E dual. They are perfect for those seeking affordable access to the quality and functionality more traditionally associated with high-end Android smartphones," said Calum MacDougall, Director Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications.
