The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, which was announced a few days ago, is all set to hit the stores next week. The Japanese electronics giant didn't reveal features, pricing and exact release date of the device at the time of its unveiling but its Hong Kong website has revealed it all.
The Xperia C5 Ultra will be released on 14 August and come with a price tag of HK$ 3,298 (approximately $425 / Rs 27,088), according to information provided on Sony Hong Kong website (via Xperiablog). However, price of the device may differ from region to region.
According to details provided in the website, the Xperia C5 Ultra weighs 187 grams and will come with a dimension of 164.2mm x 79.6mm x 8.2mm. It sports a 6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen with 1920x1080 pixels, powered by MediaTek MTK6752 clocking at 1.7GHz and 700MHz ARM Mali760 GPU, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The device is also expected to come packed with 16 GB internal memory, expandable up to 200 GB via microSD card slot, 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear and front cameras with image stabilizer, and 2930mAh battery with more than 14 hours talk time and 728 hours standby time.
In terms of connectivity, Xperia C5 Ultra is expected to feature GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 wireless technology, 3.5 mm audio jack (CTIA) , DLNA Certified, NFC, High Speed USB 2.0 and Micro USB support, and Wi-Fi and WiFi wireless base station functionality.
The new device doesn't come with water-resistant feature like earlier Sony products and it will be available only in select countries, especially emerging markets.
