Japanese consumer giant Sony has further delayed the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean update to the company's mid-range Xperia smartphones.
A few months ago, Sony had announced plans to release the Android Jelly Bean update to Xperia SP, T, TX and V by the end of 2013. But the date has now passed, and this has angered the fans who are unhappy with the firm's false promise.
Peeved Xperia users took to the social media to vent their anger against the company. To dissipate the dissidence, Sony reportedly replied with an apology and said that company is working on releasing the update as soon as possible.
With no specific timeline given by the company, smartphone owners are advised to keep an eye on the official Sony Mobile Blog for new updates, and also check the phone settings manually for new software updates on a time-to-time basis.
