After releasing Android Marshmallow to the Xperia Z5 series, Sony has released the new OS update to former flagship Xperia Z4 and Z3+ series devices.
The new Android Marshmallow (build number: 32.1.A.1.163 ) is being deployed via OTA (Over-The-Air) to Xperia Z4 Tablet- Wi-Fi (SGP712) and LTE (SGP771) models as well as single-SIM based Xperia Z3+ (E6553), Xperia Blog reported.

Go to Settings >> About Phone >> System updates
The update roll-out process is staged in phases, so it will take some time to reach all corners of the world.
For the uninitiated, Android Marshmallow brings the Doze power saving feature. Google claims that it is capable of extending battery life by at least 30 percent depending on the device's internal hardware.

Other notable features include more intuitive. Now, on Tap feature, leaner and faster Chrome browser, new security feature verified boot system, new contextual assistance feature and auto back-up from where all apps' user data (less than 25MB) will automatically be stored in Google Drive, support for more international languages, new Google photos app and more.
Other devices that are confirmed to get the firmware include Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.
