Just a few days after the images of Sony's new Xperia handset - Honami aka Xperia i1 - hit the internet, more alleged photos of the new handset taken from different angles have been leaked to the net again.
Just Another Mobile Phone blog has posted a new set of Sony's imminent flagship model which correlated well with the previous leaks. Earlier this week, Brazilian website TechTudo posted the images of the purported Xperia i1 smartphone which showed the handset placed in between Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia ZL.
The smartphone is likely to sport the same look of Sony's Xperia smartphones as the design language as shown in the images. Regarding its specifications, the handset is likely to sport a 5-inch display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution powered by the quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. Other stipulated features of the handset include IR, NFC, One Touch Sharing, Wi-Fi Miracast and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It would pack 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD slot for expansion.
In terms of image sensor, the smartphone is expected to come with a 20-megapixel rear camera with 2/3" Exmor RS sensor, Xenon flash, Mobile BIONZ image processing, Cyber-shot camera UI, and a 2.2-megapixel camera on the front.
The smartphone is expected to make its debut at Sony's upcoming press event on 4 July.
