At the recently held press conference at E3 2016, Sony made some new and important announcements on the upcoming video games for PS4 and also some new content to some of the current video games.
Before releasing every new game trailer, Sony would have a live orchestra open for it. One of the first trailers that it showcased was the revamped and all-new "God of War," which was build from the ground up.
Sony also revealed that its PlayStation VR be debuting Oct. 13, 2016.
"God of War:" The revamped "God of War" video game will features a bearded Kratos, the game's protagonist who has to face fatherhood, a challenge he not faced until now. Apart from the stunning trailer showcasing the environment in the game, Kratos will be accompanied by his son throughout the game.
"Days Gone:" This is a post-apocalyptic game where players will have to fight for survival. The game features Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter, who is the game's protagonist. He likes to take the "broken" road rather than the safe wilderness encampments. The game will allow the players to craft, set trap and create alternate paths
"Resident Evil VII Biohazard:" This is the latest survival horror game from developer Polygon. This game would be released on Jan. 24, 2017, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
"Spider-Man:" The rumoured game has finally been confirmed and it's being developed by Insomniac Games. The teaser trailer showed Spider-Man swoop through the streets of Manhattan in his iconic style and wearing the iconic red and blue suit.
"Farpoint:" With setting on hostile alien planet, players are tasked with picking up scientists who were studying the anomaly near Jupiter. Players will have to survive the hostile environment as they explore and uncover the planet's secrets.
The game is expected to be released for PS4 and PlayStation VR.
"Detroit: Become Human:" This game from developer Quantic Dream is set in Detroit featuring Androids. The game is about choices players make and how it might be able to save the situation for them and the people who are in distress.
"Horizon Zero Dawn:" Sony released an 8 minutes odd game trailer showing what the lead protagonist in the game can do. Players will control Aloy, who has left her tribe to find out the reason for the extinction of mankind and the existence of mechanised creatures.
The game is expected to be rolling out in February 2017.
"The Last Guardian:" This PS4 exclusive game was revealed to be releasing on Oct. 25, 2016. The game lets players control the young boy who controls "Trico," a wild dog-like animal that can fly.
