Passengers on-board a flight from Jodhpur were in for a pleasant surprise when sensational singer Sonu Nigam took to the intercom and entertained them with his voice. Along with the flight instructions, passengers got to enjoy one of India's ace singers' songs too.
Sonu crooned the songs "Panchi Nadiyaan Pavan Ke Jhoke" from the film "Refugee" and "Do Pal" from "Veer-Zara". According to Miss Malini, the singer was flying back from a private event in Jodhpur and thus became friendly with the passengers who were also guests at the event.
Dressed in a casual T-shirt and track pants, his impromptu performance surprised the passengers. Sonu also appreciated one of the passengers who was singing along with him saying, "Arey waah aap bhi gaate hain! Oh my God, saare singers hain!"
In other news, Sonu will reportedly soon join the list of Bollywood celebs who have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum in London. However, no official announcement has been made on thi yet. "Regarding the Major News of the Day, please wait for the Official release from Madam Tussauds. Love and Grace," he tweeted.
Rumours also have it that Sonu was miffed with the producers of Juhi Chawla's "Chalk N Duster". It was reported that the singer hadn't been paid for it, but he slammed the reports on his Twitter handle and said: "Chalk and Duster producers' issue is their personal. True I didn't charge, but they compensated with a beautiful watch. I'm not Miffed."
