Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's cat-fight is not a new story.
Even though the cold-war between the two is apparent to the world, the latter rarely responds to the comments passed on her by Kapoor.
The problems began after the two divas appeared on one episode of "Koffee With Karan" in which they criticized Ranbir Kapoor openly, and also made remarks on other celebs. This was one of the most controversial episodes of the chat show.
But later, Padukone patched up with the "Barfi" actor and also signed a film together, which reportedly infuriated Sonam. Then "Chennai Express" actress was also invited at the Kapoor scion's birthday party where Sonam was not invited. Apart from this, the "Khoobsurat" actress soon realised that her PR agency, which is also Padukone's PR, apparently preferred the latter. Sonam had no option, but to change her PR agent.
After this, Sonam - known for being a blabbermouth - never left a chance to take a dig at her friend-turned-foe.
Recently, Padukone announced her decision of working towards a cause of mental health on Twitter. On which, the "Aisha" actress commented saying if she ever wanted to commit to a cause she wouldn't flaunt or announce it on social media, The Times of India reported.
I dedicate this year to supporting Mental Health Awareness.

However, this is not the first time that Kapoor is showing 'how miffed she is' by Deepika. Last year, when all the B-Town celebs were supporting Padukone for her stand against a leading newspaper for commenting on her cleavage, Sonam's reaction was a bit different.
When she was asked about it during a promotional event, she first said, "I never said she is a friend of mine, she is a colleague." Then the actress further commented, "Woman stop objectifying themselves, people will objectifying them." According to her, people have to respect themselves first for people to respect them.
This was not it; Sonam gave her expert comments on Padukone's fashion sense on her visit to "Koffee With Karan", in which she was accompanied by her father Anil Kapoor this time. The Bollywood fashionista compared Deepika with Katrina Kaif's outfits. She commented, "Even if she (Katrina) wears a jeans and t-shirt and has her hair in ponytail.. I'd rather have that than someone who is like 'I want to be on the cover of Vogue every three months'."
Sonam again took a jibe at the "Happy New Year" actress by naming her when Karan Johar asked to title an actress as 'Good Girl Gone Bad'. Also, when she was asked that the one thing that Deepika has and she does not is an 'over enthusiastic PR team'.
