Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has mesmerised everyone with her brilliant performance in the film "Neerja." The fashionista is currently working on a film produced by sister Rhea Kapoor, which is helmed by "Khoobsurat" director Shashanka Ghosh.
Earlier, Sonam had informed that Rhea is producing three films and she will appear in two of them. Also, there were reports that Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Huma Qureshi were in talks for one of them, which would be a chick flick.
However, Sonam's next project that is one of Rhea's films will not have the "Neerja" actress as the central character. "I am doing my sister Rhea's production directed by 'Khoobsurat' director Shashanka Ghosh. This new project is the only film I am doing right now. But I don't play the central character in the new project, like I did in 'Khoobsurat.' I'm part of an ensemble cast," DNA quoted Sonam as saying.
"For me, the interest level in a character is not dictated by the number of scenes in which I am visible. Boman Irani said something really great when he came to visit the sets of 'Neerja.' He said there are no big or small roles. Only big or small actors," she added.
There has been no confirmed report on which film she is talking about. If it is the chick flick, then it would be Sonam's second such film after "Aisha." Last year, there were reports that Katrina and Anushka backed out of this project.
Anushka had date issues as she has too many films in her hand, while Katrina initially showed interest in doing this chick flick but backed out later. Anushka is working on films like "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," "Sultan" and "Phillauri." Katrina is shooting for "Jagga Jasoos" and "Baar Baar Dekho."
