Sonali Bendre is currently undergoing treatment for her stage four cancer in New York but has been quite active on social media platforms to constantly give health updates to her fans. And now, Sonali's sister-in-law and film producer Shrishti Arya has opened up about the actress' condition.
"She is staying strong," Shrishti was quoted as saying by SpotboyE when asked about Sonali's health condition.
A few days ago, Sonali had posted a picture on Instagram with her 12-year-old son Ranveer while sporting her cropped hair. In the post, she opened up about revealing the heart-breaking news to her son and his reaction.
The day Ranveer was told about cancer, Sonali was surprised to see that her son took the news maturely and instantly became her source of strength.
Ranveer is currently in New York and recently shared a picture of him strolling through the city's Central Park. Sonali's fans, who have been constantly enquiring and praying for her good health, were left in awe with Ranveer.
Soon after Sonali broke the news about her cancer, millions of fans along with Bollywood celebrities had taken to social media to send their warm wishes and provide emotional support.
"It happened suddenly. Sonali is a fighter. She will definitely prevail. She has a lot of positive energy. She will be back. We are all very grateful for the outpouring of love," Shrishti had told the entertainment portal after Sonali's announcement on Instagram.
Sonali's positivity in these times of personal strife has been lauded widely on social media, especially after she shared a photograph where she was seen smiling ear-to-ear.
