Sonali Bendre is putting up a brave fight against cancer which she discovered only after reaching a critical stage. The 43-year-old actress is currently undergoing a metastatic cancer treatment in New York. And now, her husband Goldie Behl has shared that she is responding well to the treatment without any complications.
The filmmaker took to Twitter to thank Sonali's fans who have been constantly praying for her speedy recovery and wrote, "Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali. She is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively."
In July, Sonali Bendre had shared that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer. Post her diagnosis, she has been quite active on social media platforms and constantly gives updates about her health.
Sonali's sister-in-law Shrishti Arya had also recently opened up about the actress' health and said that she is staying strong.
"It happened suddenly. Sonali is a fighter. She will definitely prevail. She has a lot of positive energy. She will be back. We are all very grateful for the outpouring of love," Shrishti had told Spotboye after Sonali's announcement on Instagram.
Sonali had married Goldie in 2002 and has a 12-year-old son named Ranveer.
Fans have been constantly pouring in their support for Sonali. Some of them are cancer survivors who have been sharing their stories of how they defeated the deadly demon to motivate the actress in her battle with her life-threatening disease.
A Vedic astrologer, Anirudh Kumar Mishra, has also shared his inputs on Twitter. "I have done my research on cancer horoscope wise and the causes are usually Jupiter and Ketu. Luckily this year the combinations of Ketu and Jupiter is weak, so good medical care can help you recover from this," Mishra tagged Sonali Bendre while tweeting.
