Many B-Town stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have made it to the small screens in an effort to reach out to a wider audience. And the latest one to join the bandwagon is actress Sonakshi Sinha.
Sonakshi is all set to make her TV debut as a judge in the upcoming season of popular music reality show, "Indian Idol Junior".
The "Dabangg" actress will be seen as one among the panel of judges alongside music composer Vishal Dadlani and Salim Merchant.
The news started doing the rounds after Sonakshi took to her Twitter handle to raise the excitement among her fans with some good news.
"OMG!! Have some grrrrreat news for you'll... Wait for it #juniorontheway" she tweeted.
While fans started guessing, soon, hashtag #SonakshiAndJunior started trending on Twitter.
Later, the actress revealed that she will be a part of the "Indian Idol Junior".

Excited over making her TV debut, the gorgeous actress told The Times of India: "I am excited about judging the music reality show featuring children. I am a kid at heart, and love watching shows that display such wonderful talent, so it's the perfect fit for me. I can't wait to meet all the talented kids."
The makers had reportedly approached Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra earlier to join the show. However, the deal finally rolled down to the "Action Jackson" actress.
The new season will be hosted by Hussain Kuwajerwala and Asha Negi replacing Karan Wahi and Mandira Bedi, who hosted the first season of "Indian Idol Junior".
"Balam Pichkari" singer Shalmali Kholgade will judge the audition rounds of "Indian Idol Junior".
