'Soggade Chinni Nayana' 3rd week box office collection: Nagarjuna's 'SCN' joins club of Rs 40 crore movies

Nagarjuna's "Soggade Chinni Nayana" (SCN) has done good collection at worldwide box office in third week and joined the club of the Telugu movies that have earned the share of Rs 40 crore.

"Soggade Chinni Nayana" collected Rs 55.96 crore gross at the global box office in two weeks. The film fetched a share of Rs 35.73 crore to its distributors in 14 days. Trade analysts predicted that its business would be affected by new releases "Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi" (LOL), "Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu" (SARS) and "Kalavathi" in the third week.

As predicted, "Soggade Chinni Nayana" witnessed steep decline in its business on its third Friday. But all the three movies getting mixed reviews, the Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna and Lavanya-starrer once again became first choice for many film goers on the following days. The film showed a big leap over the weekend. The film once again showed dip on Monday and maintained rock-steady on other weekdays.

"Soggade Chinni Nayana" has collected approximately Rs 8 crore gross in six days of the third week. The movie has grossed a total of Rs 63.88 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 20 days. The film is estimated to have earned Rs 4.50 crore to its distributors, whose total share has now reached Rs 40.48 crore.

The distributors have shelled out Rs 18 crore on its global theatrical rights. However, "Soggade Chinni Nayana" has earned them more than double of their investments. It has become one of the blockbuster Telugu movies released during Sankranti festivals.
