OnePlus has finally revealed the release date of its Soft Gold OnePlus 3 variant in India. The Chinese company has now confirmed that the device that first came to the United States more than a month ago will be launched on October 1 and it will be available for purchase on Amazon India.
The smartphone manufacturer had earlier said that Soft Gold OnePlus 3 variant would be released in India in the first week of October, and that it would come with a price tag of Rs 27,999, same as the original model. Buyers of the handset can avail Rs 500 worth Amazon Kindle Credits, data offer on Idea Cellular pre-paid and post-paid connections, and OnePlus Care accidental damage protection for a year.
The soft gold OnePlus 3 comes with a full-metal uni-body design, measures 152.7x74.7x7.35 mm in dimension and weighs 158g. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED screen with 1,920x1,080p (401 ppi pixel density), is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and runs an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS (upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat).
The device also has a 64GB internal memory, a 6GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with Sony IMX 298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12 µm lens, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and 4K video recording, an 8MP front-snapper with Sony IMX179 sensor, 1.4 µm lens and f/2.0 aperture, and a 3,000mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A) technology.
It supports dual-SIM, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/ac), USB Type-C, NFC (Near Field Communication), Dirac HD Sound and dual-microphone with noise cancellation.
