"So You Think You Can Dance," the Indian version of dance-based reality show of the same name, is nearing its end and the winner of the season is already out.
The shooting for the grand finale was done recently and if reports are to be believed then Alisha Behura has been crowned the winner of the season. The grand finale episode will be aired on Sunday, July 17 and the 16-year-old will be awarded with a trophy and a grand prize of Hyundai i10 car, India Forums reported.
Alisha, who was a part of "Dance India Dance Season 4," beat finalists Roza Rana, Aryan Patra, Tarun Nihalani, Kalpita Kachroo and Ryan Martyr to win the coveted trophy. The grand finale will also be graced by Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fenandes, who will make an appearance for the promotion of "Dishoom."
"So You Think You Can Dance" featured a mix of professional and non-professional dancers and was hosted by Mouni Roy and Rithvik Dhanjani. The show was judged by Terence Lewis, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Bosco Martis.
A few months ago, there were reports that Mouni had hit Rithvik while shooting for an episode of "So You Think You Can Dance." The episode required the participants to use props as part of their dance acts. One of the contestants was performing with a mannequin and Mouni, in an attempt to add some fun to the show, hit Rithik with the hand of the mannequin. Unfortunately, the incident left Rithvik with a swollen face. In fact, the actor had to shoot the remaining episode with the swollen face.
