While fans are eagerly waiting for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" to hit the theatres, the makers of Salman Khan starrer "Sultan" are gearing up to roll the cameras.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to share a sneak peek of the place in Punjab, where shooting of the film is expected to take place.
"Bismillah.......at Manakpur shah Dargah. Punjab #Sultan.. The journey begins..." he tweeted.
In "Sultan", Salman will play a 40-year-old boxer and is said to undergo strict physical regime to get into the skin of the character.
The "Kick" actor is said to start shooting for the film in November, after the release of Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".
The film's leading actress is yet to be announced. Recently, Kangana Ranaut has been approached to play the lead female role, but the "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress turned down the offer due to other commitments.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Sultan" will hit the screens during Eid 2016, the same time when Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Raees" will get released.
Meanwhile, Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, will hit the theatres on 17 July 2015.
