The snapshot of the international variant of Sony's rumoured Xperia Z1s, aka Xperia Z1 Mini has once again surfaced online, this time placed alongside the original flaghsip Xperia Z1 model.
The picture was leaked by a Chinese blogger at Digi-Wo, a social networking site. In the image, Xperia Z1s is placed beside the 5.0-inch sibling Xperia Z1, adding to the credibility of the mini variant's existence [To view the photo,Click Here]. The user reportedly claimed that the smaller variant may come with an IPS (In-Plane Switching) display panel, which is a bit contradictory considering the fact that Sony has always been using TFT screens in its previous as well as current smartphone models.
Until the parent company comes up with the official confirmation, the rumour would be considered pure speculation only.
According to past reports, Xperia Z1s is said to sport a 4.3-inch HD (720x1280p) display and run on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor backed by Adreno 330, 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage.
The international Xperia Z Mini variant is also speculated a house a feature-rich 20.7-megapixel camera. It is said to boast of Sony's exclusive patented technology - G-Lens, BIONZ image processor and Exmor RS sensor which are usually seen inside the expensive DSLR camera.
Sony has confirmed to release region specific model Xperia Z1 f (SO-02f) aka Xperia Z1 Mini through network carrier NTT Docomo in Japan next month.
Rumour has it that the global variant may soon get launched in Ukraine soon.
