After a jaw-dropping finale of "Sleepy Hollow" season 2, fans are eager to watch season 3 on Fox to know more about the developments in the lives of Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie).
Apart from handling new challenges, the lead characters may also develop a love interest for each other as they get more involved in resolving mysteries in the upcoming sequel.
A press release by the cable network reveals that the supernatural drama will explore how the relationship between the two witnesses will evolve in the third season.
As per the short description of the show, fans of Crane and Mills will get a chance to watch their favourite characters sharing more screen space in season 3. Meanwhile, it also claimed that the two will have to encounter more challenges in the upcoming sequel, reported Cross Map.
But earlier actor Mison had stated that the supernatural series will no longer revolve around Crane's family drama. So it remains to be seen how the partnership between the two witnesses take a step forward in season 3.
There is also buzz that viewers can expect some interesting story-lines in the new season as it will be directed by "The Glades" fame Clifton Campbell.
Meanwhile, Fox president David Madden has shared his excitement about the upcoming season and said, "I had the pleasure of working with Clifton on both The Glades and White Collar. He is an excellent producer, and we can't wait to see what this team has in store for Season 3."
