The shooting of "Siya Ke Ram" had to be stalled recently when the show's lead actress Madirakshi Mundle, who essays the role of Sita, fell unconscious because of the scorching heat in Hyderabad. Not just Madirakshi, the entire unit of the show is suffering from the unbearable heat.
"The temperature in Hyderabad is currently unbearable. The heat has been taking a toll on the entire unit. Even though we've been shooting indoors, it is very hot to survive. I had already been very weak due to the hectic schedules and so when the doctor came to check on me, I wasn't surprised about him telling me to be only on bed rest and not exert much," Indo-Asian News Services (IANS) quoted Madirakshi as saying.
"As of now, production has been accommodating and has been helping me take things lightly. But my work demands me, so I am eating a lot of citrus fruits and even doing yoga to keep myself calm," she told IANS.
Madirakshi's co-star Danish Akhtar Saifi, who plays the role of Hanuman on "Siya Ke Ram," also had to call off shooting recently after he was diagnosed with chicken pox. Danish was hospitalised and is currently recovering from the illness. His mother has also flown down from Bihar to help him recover. Because of Danish's ill health, the sequence of Ram and Hanuman milan had to be postponed.
In other news, Madirakshi recently made headlines when she got an opportunity to meet "Bahubaali: The Beginning" star Prabhas. The actress was shooting for the vanwaas (exile) sequence along with the team of "Siya Ke Ram," while Prabhas was shooting for SS Rajamouli's "Bahubaali: The Conclusion" close to her sets. Madirakshi chatted with the actor for a few minutes and even clicked a picture with him.
