Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited Remo has been censored and it has bagged 'U' certificate from the regional censor board. It has now paved way for its worldwide release on October 7. The Tamil flick has also qualified for the entertainment tax exemption given by the Tamil Nadu government.
The state government has made it mandatory for Tamil films to get a "U" certificate in order to be eligible for the 30 percent tax exemption. This exemption will play a major role in a film's success at the box office as gross business of the film will be almost equal to the net collections.
Hence, the producers wish to get a "U" certificate from the censor board. Coming back to Remo, the Tamil film has reached its last stage of post-production work and the makers will start the movie promotions soon. It has already created a lot of buzz around it and huge expectations are riding on it.
Remo is a romantic-comedy directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja. The film has Anirudh Ravichander's music, PC Sreeram's cinematography and Ruben's editing.
Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in the film, which has Sathish, KS Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Aadukalam Naren and others in supporting roles.
