The first-look motion poster of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, "Kaaki Sattai", is all set to be released on Friday, 28 November.
Motion posters seem to be the current trend in the Tamil film industry. The motion posters of biggies like "Kaththi", "Lingaa" and "Poojai" had received tremendous response from the fans. It needs to be seen if the poster of "Kaaki Sattai" will be able to impress the audience or not.
The film's music composer, Anirudh, has reportedly come up with a theme music for the motion poster.
"#KaakiSattai Motion Poster and Theme Music will release on Friday-28th November. Need all your wishes! @Siva_Kartikeyan @durairsk @Madan2791," tweeted Anirudh.
The audio launch of the film is reportedly planned for 5 December. Anirudh is on a roll with back-to-back hits like "3", "Ethir Neechal," "Vanakkam Chennai," "Maan Karate," "Velai Illa Pattathari" and "Kaththi." "Kaaki Sattai" will be his third album of the year.
Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, "Kaaki Sattai" is touted as a comedy-action entertainer. The film will have Sivakarthikeyan playing the role of a cop for the first time. He has been paired opposite Sri Divya, his co-star from the super-hit film "Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam" ("VVS"). Siva has been going through a good phase with his past releases including "Ethir Neechal", "VVS" and "Maan Karate" having turned out to be big hits at the box office.
"Kaaki Sattai" is expected to fare well at the box office, but whether it will score better than "Maan Karate" is something one needs to wait and watch.
Earlier, there were reports suggesting that the film will release in October, but it did not materialise. An official announcement regarding the film's release date is still awaited.
"Kaaki Sattai" is produced under Dhanush's Wunderbar Films banner and is expected to release in February 2015.
Meanwhile, Siva has shifted his focus on the next project directed by Ponram of "VVS" fame. The film titled as "Rajini Murugan" will reportedly have the actor playing the role of a real-estate broker. Malayalam actress Keerthi Suresh appears as the female lead, while Raj Kiran is also part of the cast.
The film is produced by Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers, while the music will be composed by Imman.
