Sivakarthikeyan's Remo has got an earth-shattering opening and the business done by the Tamil movie has made the makers happy. To thank the fans and media for their support, the makers organised a success meet on Tuesday, 11 October, at an upscale hotel and it was attended by prominent members of the team.
On stage, Sivakarthikeyan turned emotional as he appreciated the courage of producer RD Raja for completing the film, despite facing several roadblocks. The actor thanked the exhibitors and distributors, who have played a major role in the success of Remo at the box office, for their support. The actor had special words about music director Anriudh, whose music has turned out to be one of the highlights in the flick.
The entire team, including the producer, the director, actress Keerthy Suresh and KS Ravikumar shared their experience of being a part of the project. However, it is distributor Tirupur Subramaniam's comment that has become the talk of the town.
Tirupur Subramaniam in his speech said that Sivakarthikeyan is the reason why the film has become a big hit. In terms of entertaining audience, he is next to MGR, Rajinikanth and Vijay. This is a huge compliment for a budding star as it is an honour being compared to them.
The distributor also added that he took the distribution after a long time as RD Raja wanted an experienced man to distribute the flick. Remo is attracting huge number of family audience because of the nominal ticket prices.
Remo is a romantic-comedy, written and directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan. The film features Anirudh Ravichander's music, PC Sreeram's cinematography and Ruben's editing.
