The first look poster of Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran has been released on Monday. The actor himself shared it on Twitter.
"Here's our #VelaikkaranFL Need ur blessings and support," Sivakarthikeyan captioned the picture. The actor will be see wearing a formal dress and holding a machete in his hand. Also, the picture gives two sides of a place - city and slum. The look has garnered good response from the viewers.
Velaikkaran marks the first union of director Mohan Raja-- who is returning after his superhit Thani Oruvan-- with Sivakarthikeyan. Nayanthara will be seen romancing the actor for the first time in the movie.
Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays an important role in Velaikkaran, while Prakash Raj, Sneha, Thambi Ramaiah, RJ Balaji are part of the cast. The movie has Anirudh Ravichander's music, Ramji's cinematography and Vivek Harshan's editing.

The shooting of Velaikkaran started in November 2016. The Tamil flick, which was initially planned to be released in August, is now rescheduled for a September release.
Less Promotions
Sivakarthikeyan's previous movie Remo was in the media spotlight from the day it was launched till it hit the screens. The makers had promoted the flick big time. However, his latest movie Velaikkaran has kept a low-profile so far.
