An official told IANS that 12 motorbikes were set on fire by the mob and many other police vehicles were also targeted.
Senior officials including DIG R.K.S. Rathore, IG Vijay Singh Meena and district police chief Dharamveer Singh rushed to the spot.
An official said additional security personnel have been deployed.
"We are keeping an eye on the situation. For now things are under control," the official said.
