The first-look posters of Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor's much-awaited film "Singham Returns" have been released.

Five first-look posters and the logo of "Singham Returns" were unveiled on Sunday. Looking at the posters, one can say that the film will be a complete action-packed entertainer.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Singham Returns" is the sequel to "Singham," which hit the screens in 2011.The Ajay Devgn starrer was a remake of the Tamil action flick with the same name.

The Hindi version performed exceptionally well and crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office. It remains to be seen if the sequel will be able to repeat the success of "Singham."

Ajay Devgn will be reprising the role of a tough cop – Bajirao Singham. Kareena Kapoor has been paired opposite Devgn in the film, whereas Anupam Kher and Amol Gupte are also part of the cast. The action-packed entertainer is produced by Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment.

Director Rohit Shetty is riding high with the stupendous success of "Chennai Express", starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Hence, expectations are high for his upcoming project "Singham Returns."

In the past, the director has teamed up with Ajay Degvn in all his films except "Chennai Express." The actor-director duo has several hits to their credit including the "Golmaal" series, "Singham" and "Bol Bachchan." The collaboration of Devgn and Shetty for "Singham Returns" has generated a lot of hype surrounding the project.

The film's trailer is all set to be released on 11 July. The action entertainer is gearing up to release on 15 August.

It is all set for a big clash with biggies from other film industries at the worldwide box office. "Singham Returns" will be locking horns with Suriya's "Anjaan" (Tamil), Jr NTR's "Rabhasa" (Telugu) and Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables 3" as all these films are slated to hit theatres during the Independence Day weekend.
