The mobile version of the popular life-simulation video-game series, 'The Sims Mobile', is now available through an exclusive soft launch in Brazil. The popular game of the 2000s is now accessible on both iOS and Android in the specified country as there is no word on its global launch yet.
Nevertheless, the game is available as a free download on both iOS and Android with the sole requirement of having a free Google Play or Apple App Store account registered for Brazil. The game will be based on the original 'The Sims 4 - legacy challenge', which will require players to manage a family across multiple generations.
Players will be at the forefront of creating and developing characters, managing their lives and homes, besides nurturing the social aspect of these characters to mirror a real-world scenario.
EA has chosen to remain silent about the game's international launch, while anxious gamers who are itching to test the popular game for the first time on the mobile platform and cannot wait for its official release in the country, may follow these steps to grab a free copy of the game, regardless of their residential country:
- Launch iTunes on a PC or a Mac and then sign out of your existing account as follows: Select the Store tab in the menu bar and then hit Sign Out.
- Navigate to the bottom of the iTunes Store and click on the flag icon in the left sidebar. You will now be redirected to another page with a list of flags. Just choose the Brazil flag and proceed to the next step.
- Search for a free app under the App Store section and tap the download button. You may be prompted to log-in or create a new account. Just choose the second option to create a new one.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and use the new Apple account details (email ID and password) you just created for iTunes to sign-in.
- Choose 'None' for the payment method when prompted.
That's it. You are all set to download all the free apps and games via iTunes such as The Sims Mobile.
