The players of the freemium mobile video game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, from EA mobile received a new Winter 2015 update for Christmas holidays on 8 December, 2015.
Just prior to the release of the Winter 2015 update, the players of the game were tapping Homer and his brood from Springfield to the Thanksgiving 2015 update that saw Turkeys roaming about the town's streets, along with an obese version of Homer and several other theme specific challenges.
Apart from bringing a whole range of changes to the game environment, with the weather in-game changing to cold snowy winter, we have several new features like the Winter 2015 Prizes, Best Snowman Ever Attraction, Crafting, Weekly Challengers, Merrymakes roaming the streets, tacky decorations for the houses of in-game characters and other new challenges, making the game double the fun to play.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released in February 2012 for iOS and to Android on February 2013. The themed updates have been a regular feature in The Simpsons: Tapped Out game. As of 10 November, 2015, the maximum number of levels for the game is 59.
