Simmtronics has launched its new voice-calling tablet XPAD Turbo in India.
Speaking at the launch, Indrajit S Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics said: "We are very enthralled with the introduction of this new tablet, in which there is a facility to use both 2G and 3G. This all-in-one workhorse is designed as the perfect companion for professionals and students who desire both reliable communications as well as optimum convenience - all at an affordable cost."
The tablet sports a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor with Mali 400MP GPU. It comes with 512MB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Other features include 4GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera and 2800mAh battery. The connectivity options of the tablet include WiFi and Bluetooth. The tablet is available for purchase in India at a price tag of ₹7,999.
The Simmtronics currently sells XPAD-XQ1, XPAD X-722, XPAD X720, and XPAD 801, XPAD X 1010, XPAD 802 and XPAD Freedom tablets in India.
