Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba (Simba) has entered its second weekend, and witnessed a good hike in box office collection on second Saturday.
The movie has been dominating the box office from its opening day. It had collected Rs 20.72 crore on first day, followed by Rs 23.33 crore on Saturday and Rs 31.06 crore on Sunday.
After ending the first weekend with a superb box office performance, Simmba continued the dream run over the weekdays as well. The holiday season aided its business, and the movie managed to cross Rs 100 crore mark in just five days.
Showing no sign of slowing down, the action drama crossed Rs 150 crore mark in seven days, and again witnessed a major jump in box office collection as the second weekend started.
The movie enjoyed an excellent occupancy entire Saturday, and the earning hiked with further increase in footfalls during the evening shows. With screen count of around 4,000, Simmba collected Rs 13.32 crore on day 9 at the domestic market, taking its total to Rs 173.15 crore.

Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba has already set many new box office records, and is likely to make more in coming days. With no major release last Friday, the film will continue to roar at the commercial circuits at least till the next big release.
Considering the current pace, Simmba is likely to cross Rs 200 crore at the Indian box office by the end of Monday or Tuesday.
