Simmba (Simba) has had a fabulous first week at the box office with its collection crossing Rs 150 crore mark in just seven days. The movie witnessed fall in its earning on second Friday, but still managed to earn good amount of money.
Ranveer Singh's Simmba had made an excellent opening with a collection of Rs 20.72 crore on first day. The film had witnessed a big jump over the weekend as it had collected Rs 23.33 crore on Saturday and Rs 31.06 crore on Sunday at the Indian box office.
Contrary to the expectations, the action drama continued making good moolah over the weekdays as well. Simmba had collected Rs 21.24 crore on Monday, and owing to new year holiday, the earning went up to Rs 28.19 crore on Tuesday, conveniently crossing Rs 100 crore mark.
Although the movie's business dipped from Wednesday, but it still managed to earn in double digits. The Rohit Shetty directorial crossed Rs 150 crore mark at the domestic market by earning Rs 14.49 crore on Wednesday and Rs 11.78 crore on Thursday.
Simmba remained strong at the commercial circuits even on second Friday. The movie collected Rs 9.02 crore on day 8 at the Indian box office.

Having been released on 4,020 screens across India, Simmba is likely to witness big hike in collection over its second weekend. With no other major release, the movie is expected to dominate the box office in the coming days, and easily cross Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic market.
