Ranveer Singh's Simmba (Simba) has completed its first week at the box office with superb 7 days collection at the domestic market.
The movie has had an excellent start at the Indian box office, followed by even better performance over the weekend. Simmba remained extremely strong at the box office even on weekdays, entering Rs 100 crore club in just five days.
Simmba had collected Rs 20.72 crore at the domestic market on its opening day, becoming Ranveer's highest first day grossing movie. It witnessed a good jump in business over the weekend, and earned Rs 23.33 crore on Saturday and Rs 31.06 crore on Sunday.
With the holiday season running, the film maintained the momentum on Monday and Tuesday as well with collection of Rs 21.24 crore and rs 28.19 crore respectively, and conveniently earned Rs 124.54 crore in five days.
As expected, the action drama faced a decline in collection on Wednesday, and earned Rs14.49 crore on day 6, and was just around Rs 11 crore away from Rs 150 crore mark.
Although Simmba witnessed further dip of around 20 percent in collection on day 7, the movie managed to earn decent money, and crossed Rs 150 crore mark at the Indian box office on Thursday. The film collected Rs 11.78 crore on day 7.

With a screen count of around 4.020 and strong word of mouth, Simmba has been dominating the box office completely. Considering the current trend, the movie is likely to cross double century by the end of second weekend.
