Ranveer Singh's Simmba (Simba) is currently enjoying a dream run at the box office and there's no stopping this Rohit Shetty directorial cop drama whatsoever. The movie, which took off to an excellent start at the domestic market, has remained undisputed on a working day Monday as well.
Released across 4,020 screens in India, Simmba opened to positive reviews from the critics and audience which ultimately translated into big numbers in its opening weekend collection.
After enjoying a fruitful opening weekend, the masala entertainer continued its winning streak and witnessed good footfalls on day 4 maintaining its dominance over the domestic market on a working day as well. It witnessed an overall 50-55 per cent occupancy in theatres.
Ranveer Singh's Simmba went on to earn over Rs 21.24 crore taking the total movie's box office collection close to Rs 100 crore mark.

Simmba has become Ranveer's highest first day grossing movie, beating Padmaavat, which had earned Rs 19 crore on opening day.
Riding high on the positive words of mouth from critics and audience alike, Simmba will soon surpass Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero box office collection in the days to come.
