Simmba (Simba) box office collection day 10: Ranveer film beats Salman's Race 3 lifetime record

Ranveer Singh's Simmba (Simba) has continued to rock the worldwide box office in its third week. The film has shattered the lifetime collection record of Race 3 on its 17^th day, third Sunday.

Simmba kept the cash registers ringing in the second week and collected a total of Rs 150.81 crore net at the Indian box office in 14 days. The trade analyst predict that it would continue to rock in the third week too. The movie showed some amount of drop on its third Saturday but went on to show decent growth on the next day

Simmba collected Rs 9.02 crore net on its third Friday and Rs 13.32 crore net on Saturday at the Indian box office. Its 16-day total collection has reached Rs 173.15 crore net and its gross total stands at Rs 222 crore. The movie has shattered the record of Salman Khan's Race 3, which minted Rs 169 crore net at the domestic box office in its lifetime.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Simmba is ruling the BO... Witnesses superb growth on second Sat... Expected to collect bigger numbers today... Will emerge Ranveer's second highest grosser today, surpassing #BajiraoMastani... [Week 2] Fri 9.02 cr, Sat 13.32 cr. Total: ₹ 173.15 cr. India biz."

The Rohit Shetty-directed film has also continued to fare well in the international markets in its third week. Simmba has collected Rs 10 crore gross at the overseas box office on its third Friday and Saturday together and its international total has reached Rs 69.42 crore gross in 16 days.

With this, Simmba has raked in a total of Rs 291.42 crore at the worldwide box office in 16 days. As you are reading, the movie is estimated to have collected Rs 15 crore gross in the global market on its 17th day and its total stands Rs 306.42 crore gross. It has not only crossed Rs 300 crore gross mark but also shattered the record of Race 3, which was the fourth highest grosser of 2018 with its Rs 303 crore gross.
