The makers of "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" (also spelt "Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada" and "Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada") have postponed the release of the single "Thalli Pogathey".
It was supposed to release on Thursday, 14 January, as a Pongal treat, but the makers could not wrap up the song on time, leading to change in the plans. However, in order to make Simbu's fans happy, his version of "Thalli Pogathey" was released on Wednesday, 13 January.
A statement from the production house says: "We believe in bringing the best to you and thank you for the amazing response to the trailer and sneak peek of the song 'Thalli Pogathey'. The team is working on the single and it will appear before you soon.
"Its work is in progress as of now and will be delivered hot off stove. For now though, we have a surprise video coming up for you this evening. Keep your excitement high as ever! (sic)" the statement said. Simbu has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, thanks to the beep song controversy, and the single release will give him somewhat of a relief from it.
After the controversy broke out, Simbu did not make any public appearance and avoided mediapersons.
The special video has made the fans of Simbu happy. The STR's version is a melodious song that leaves a good impression on the listeners.
"Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" is a romantic-action film written and directed by Gautham Menon, who had made "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa" earlier with Simbu in the lead. Manjima Mohan plays the female lead in the film, which has music by two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman. The Tamil movie has Dan Macarthur's cinematography and Anthony's editing.
