Silambarasan has lent his voice for a song called "Thaarumaaru Thakkaalisoru" in forthcoming movie "Veera Sivaji." To keep the buzz around it going, the makers released the making video of the track on Wednesday, July 14.
Simbu has sung the track with Maria Roe Vincent. Rokesh has penned the lyrics for the track, which is composed by D Imman. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the Tamil movie.
The "Idhu Namma Aalu" star has reportedly sung the song for free!. He is a good friend of the film's hero Vikram Prabhu and hence did not charge a single penny for the number.
"Thaarumaaru Thakkaalisoru" is a lively song, which is high on energy. It is a number that a boy sings to woo his girl in the film. The track is aimed at the masses and looking at the response the song has received on social media, it is safe to say that the number, which was recorded in May, has struck a chord with the youth.
People are highly impressed with the song and are sharing positive reviews on the social networking sites. So far, the making video has garnered close to 50,000 hits on the official YouTube page of Sony Music. The success of the song has also increased the expectations from the album, which is expected to be out soon.
"Veera Sivaji" is an action film, written and directed by Ganesh Vinayak. Shamili, sister-in-law of Ajith Kumar, has paired up with Vikram Prabhu in the film, which has John Vijay, Swetha Ashok, Rajendran, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Venkat and others.
S Nandagopal has produced "Veera Sivaji," which is distributed by Sri Thenandal Films.
