Simbu, known for his freewheeling talks, surprised the guests by keeping his speech simple at the audio launch function of his latest movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The actor stated that he wants his movie to make its own mark.
The actor was welcomed to the stage to the thunderous applause. "To begin with, I would like to wish a happy Teacher's Day to everyone. I can only thank them," talking about the movie he said, "More than me speaking about Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, let the film speak for itself, then I will definitely talk."
He hurriedly left the stage after finishing his speech, which is undoubtedly his shortest in the recent years.
Prior to his speech, Arun Vijay hailed him on stage and said, "Simbu is a brilliant actor. I know him for years. He is like my brother. But I discovered a good human after working with in this film. He is a wonderful person. I am happy for working with you."
