Silambarasan and Gautham Menon's "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" is finally ready for the release. Well, the Tamil movie will hit the screens next month and the news has been formally announced by the director himself.
Gautham Menon took to Facebook to announce that the movie will be release in August. He posted, "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada - August Release! [sic]" The movie was supposed to be released in July. But it was delayed due to Rajinikanth's "Kabali." There were also rumours that Simbu was not willing to complete the film until Gautham Menon pays his complete remuneration. It appears like all the issues have been now sorted out as the film is ready to see the light of the day.
However, Gautham Menon has not announced the release date of the film yet and it is believed that "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" might be released during the Independence Day holiday weekend.
On the other hand, Vikram's "Iru Murgan," which was expected to release in August, has been delayed. The latest reports suggest that the movie will hit the screens in September.
Coming back to "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada," the film is a romantic-action film, which has the music of two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman. Dan Macarthur is the cinematographer and Anthony Gonsalves is the editor of the flick.
Manjima Mohan plays the female lead in the film, which has Baba Sehgal, Daniel Balaji and others in the cast. The movie has been simultaneously shot in Telugu as "Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo" with Naga Chaitanya stepping into the shoes of Simbu in the Tollywood version.
The movie was launched in 2013 and the shooting had also started before Gautham Menon moved out of the project to direct Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal." The filming was kick-started again in 2015. Initially, Pallavi Subhash was signed to play the female lead. But she walked out of the film due to date issues and Manjima Mohan was roped in.
