Gautham Menon has finally announced the release date of his forthcoming movie "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada." The Tamil film will release on Sept. 9 worldwide.
The filmmaker revealed the news on Twitter and posted: "AYM/SSS- releasing exactly one month from today. Just about finishing all work and hence we waited to announce. All set now!And a nice date.IX. [sic]"
After postponing the release a few times, the makers have finally locked in the release date. The original plan to release "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" was in July, however, the movie was delayed due to Rajinikanth's "Kabali." It was also said that Simbu was not co-operating to finish the project as his remuneration was not cleared by the director.
Later, Gautham Menon announced that "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" would be released in August. It was delayed for some reasons again.
"Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" is one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. The film marks the reunion of Gautham Menon with Simbu, who had earlier delivered a blockbuster in the form of "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa."
Moreover, the teaser, first look and trailer have successfully evoked good response. Hence, expectations are riding high on "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada."
"Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" is a romantic-action film, which has the music of two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman. While Dan Macarthur is the cinematographer, Anthony Gonsalves is the editor of the flick.
Manjima Mohan plays the female lead in the film, which has Baba Sehgal, Daniel Balaji and others in the cast. The movie has been simultaneously shot in Telugu as "Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo" with Naga Chaitanya stepping into the shoes of Simbu in the Tollywood version.
