There were reports of Silambarasan starring in the Tamil remake of Telugu flick "Temper," which would be helmed by Vijay Chander of "Vaalu" fame. Now, the latest report clarifies that they are not part of this project.
Speaking to the Times of India, Vijay Chander said that they are not working on "Temper" remake and he is busy writing a fresh script for Silambarasan. "It will be a mature role for him. Simbu will start shooting for Adhik's AAA next. Around the same time, we will be starting our project, too. We are likely to start shooting from the last week of August," the daily adds the filmmaker as saying.
Following the success of "Temper" in Telugu, S Michael Rayappan had reportedly acquired the remake rights of the film. But he could not start the project as planned before. It is also noted that there were rumours on Simbu being replaced by Vishal Krishna.
"Temper" was written and directed by Puri Jagganadh and produced by Bandla Ganesh. Kajal Aggarwal had romanced Junior NTR in the movie, which was released in February 2015.

Meanwhile, Simbu's latest release "Idhu Namma Aalu" has opened to fairly positive reviews and it has performed well at the box office. In its first weekend, the film has earned Rs. 14.05 crore in Tamil Nadu.
It is a romantic comedy movie, directed by Pandiraj. Simbu has paired up with his ex-girlfriend Nayanthara in the flick.
On the other hand, Simbu is now busy with Gautham Menon's "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada." The movie is now getting ready for the audio launch, which will be released on June 17. The Tamil film will hit the screens in July.
