Ragini Dwivedi was the energetic participant of earlier editions of SIIMA. But the actress is not attending the event this year.
The glamorous actress was the talk of the town last year when some of her wardrobe malfunction pictures had hit the digital media before the awards ceremony. The actress' dress had slipped while performing a number at SIIMA in 2013.
But the photos were only leaked a year later, just before the next edition of the event. Especially on WhatsApp, it spread like a wildfire. But Ragini was bold enough to admit that those were her pictures and the mishap occurred in the previous edition of the awards ceremony.
The sassy actress told a TV reporter, "I'm speaking about it for the first time on TV. I don't know who is behind this. All I say that actors are prone to such mishaps and I too suffered the wardrobe malfunction. We all are humans and we commit mistakes."
The incident had occurred when Ragini was performing for a song. She wore a sheer top with a red layer of cloth that protected her modesty. But as she danced with full throttle, the inner layer of her cloth slipped to expose her breasts. The "Veera Madakari" actress, without realising about the mishap, continued to dance till Lakshmi Manchu came to her rescue.
The mishap had occurred in Dubai and the event has returned to the same country. While she graced the event in 2013 post the leak incident, this time she appears to be skipping the event as it is held in the same venue where she suffered the incident.
However, the stage is set for the fourth edition of the event. It will be attended by some of the big names of South India. Shruti Haasan, Amala Paul, Taapsee Pannu, Shriya Saran, Pranitha, Krithi Kharbanda, Adah Sharma, Nikki Galrani and many other actresses are performing at the event this time.
