The two day South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) honoured the best talents of South Indian cinema.
The award function was held on 12 and 13 September at Negara Stadium, Kaula Lampur, Malaysia.
The grand event not only saw celebrities from south, but also from B- Town. The event saw the presence of Bollywood actress Sreedevi and Boney Kappor, Chiranjeevi, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudeer Babu, K Raghavendra Rao, Huma Qureshi, A. L. Vijay, Amala Paul, Tamannaah, Asin, Navdeep, Regina Cassandra, Puneet Rajkumar, Shivarajkumar, Parvathi Menon, Trisha, Aftab Shivdasani, Rana Daggubati, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manoj Tiwari, Avika Gor, Bhagyaraj, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Vijay Yesudas among others.
The star studded event also had performances by Simbu, Shivrajkumar, Nivin Pauly, Shriya Saran, Adah Shama, Isha Talwar, Kriti Karbanda and Lakshmi Menon.
The function also honoured veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao and actor Bhagyaraj with Life Time Achievement Awards.
Superstar Chiranjeevi was commemorated as the Ambassador of Indian cinema.
While Puneet Rajkumar won the award for the Youth Icon of South Indian Cinema (Actor), Asin won the same in the actress category.
Sivakarthikeyan was chosen as Sensation of South Indian Cinema and Lakshmi Menon was bestowed with the Rising Star of South Indian Cinema award.
Tamil star Simbu was selected as the most Stylish Star of South Indian Cinema.
Celebrity couple Amala Paul and Vijay won the Couple of the Year award.
Trisha was given award for being the Most Popular Actress in South India on Social Media.
