Actor Sidharth Malhotra released the first poster of his upcoming movie, A Gentleman, on Twitter and it received good response from his fans. The poster shows the actor holding lid of a pressure cooker in one hand, and a gun in the other. Although A Gentleman first poster looks very interesting, it has striking similarities with a recently released poster of a Tamil movie.

First look poster of south Indian actor Sivakarthikeyan's movie, Velaikkaran, was released on June 5. And a few hours later, the first poster of A Gentleman was also revealed on the micro-blogging site. The two posters have many similarities in terms of the idea.

Much like Sivakarthikeyan in Velaikkaran poster, Sidharth is seen holding two contrasting objects in the poster of A Gentleman. The former is seen holding an office bag in one hand, and a machete in the other. On the other side, Sidharth holds the lid of a pressure cooker and a gun in his hands. The contrasting factor used in terms of the objects in the two posters is common.

Also, both the characters are seen sporting formal attire in their respective posters. Other common aspects include the blood stains in both the photos, and the stern gaze that Sidharth and Sivakarthikeyan are giving.

The two posters are revealed within a gap of just a few hours, and there is less chance that any of these were copied. However, the resemblance between the two pictures is pretty striking. Now, you decide if it is just a co-incidence or another case of plagiarism.

Directed by Raj and DK, A Gentleman also features Jacqueline Fernandez. The movie will feature Sidharth playing the character of a simple guy, whose only wish is to own a dream home, dream minivan, and marry his dream girl Kavya, played by Jacqueline. However, his life gets a complete twist after he comes to India. A Gentleman is slated to be released on August 25.
