Alia Bhatt's absence from the recently-concluded Mijwan Show 2015 has sparked some rumours. According to speculations, the "Highway" actress and her alleged beau Siddharth Malhotra met with filmmaker Mohit Suri and that is the reason she missed the show.
According to a Bollywood Life report, the night on which Alia was scheduled to walk the ramp with mother Soni Razdan, she was spotted interacting with Suri along with the suave "Ek Villain" actor.
So, was this a casual meet or is it related to a project in which the alleged couple will be seen romancing one another? Only time will tell. Since there has been no official announcement in this regard, it can very well be counted as a speculation.
But these two young stars' fans needn't be disappointed as they will be seen in Shakun Batra's "Kapoor & Sons". Based on a love triangle, the film will also feature Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan.
"A modern family film with a love triangle embedded in it...KAPOOR and SONS directed by @shakunbatra.....cast coming up next," Karan Johar tweeted confirming the news a few days ago.
In other news, a Mid-Day source says Alia couldn't be part of the fashion show owing to her prior work commitments. Alia apparently cancelled her entry last minute which led to a rushed re-choreography.
"She has just wrapped up her schedule of Udta Punjab a few days ago in Punjab and wanted to support this cause. But some important work came up and she had to miss it," the source informed.
While Alia and Shahid Kapoor's "Shaandaar" lined up for release in September, Sidharth and Akshay Kumar's "Brothers" have blocked the I-Day weekend after Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" was pushed for a later date.
