"Brothers" first-look poster, starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, has triggered a phenomenal buzz, and so quite obviously everyone is awaiting the film's trailer release.
According to a Pinkvilla report, Akshay recently confirmed that the trailer will be out in June. Now, usually trailers are attached to big releases but at times, makers decide it to put it out online using the tools of social media.
However, June has three big releases lined up – "Dil Dhadakne Do" (5 June), "Hamari Adhuri Kahaani" (12), and "ABCD 2" (19) – but it is too early to predict which film the trailer shall be attached to. The makers, can, however decide to release it online, altogether.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, it is the filmmaker's second outing with Dharma Productions after the super successful "Agneepath" starring Hrithik Roshan. An official remake of Hollywood film "Warriors", the film revolves around the lives of two estranged brothers.
Rugged and tough, the looks didn't come in easy for the two actors. Being fitness enthusiasts, both of their bodies were prepped for the role but needed to be worked on. The young star had to beef up and was on a high-protein diet to achieve the look.
Additionally, Kareena Kapoor Khan will reportedly seduce Sidharth in an item number titled "Merry Mary".
In other news, the film's release was a topic of conversation last month as it was rescheduled after makers of Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" decided to push their film for a later date.
Slated for a 14 August release, "Brothers" also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
